In the course of maintaining this website, some renaming and reorganization of directories is inevitable. However it is my intention that this happens gracefully, i.e. without resulting in “404 Not Found” errors. Where specific files get renamed, from now on I will use “301 Permanent Redirection” (except from old URLs not hosted on my SQUAREWHEELS.org.uk server), and should items be removed and not replaced, I will use the [“410 Gone”] http error.
